The reason why you should choose a fiberglass ladder is that fiberglass is a material which can add up as a safety feature. Due to the inherent design and the constituent type fiberglass are highly resistant to heat and electricity. 

This means that for the person working at the top there is less chance of getting an electric or heat shock.
